Gay marriage yes, civil unions no

In an advisory opinion, the Massachusetts Supreme Court has stated that only full marriage rights will satisfy its November ruling.

As expected, the opinion hasn't discouraged conservatives, who are still demanding a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. If you're in Boston tomorrow (Feb. 5) and want to make sure legislators hear all sides of the story, the Freedom to Marry Coalition of Massachusetts is holding a lobby day at the State House. If you're not sure you can see your representatives in person, you can also contact them by e-mail. Either way, I urge you to make your voice heard.
